KijuTango offers high-quality Argentine tango classes, private lessons and guest DJing across the UK and abroad. Kirsty's passion is for close-embrace tango and traditional tango music (she is regularly invited to teach and DJ across the world).
Kirsty has been dancing tango for fifteen years (trained in Buenos Aires, UK and Europe) a zen Buddhist for over twenty years; and she also taught massage for many years. This enables her to present a unique, sensitive and holistic approach to Argentine tango. She launched kijutango in Brighton in October 2006 and ran a tango school there for ten years. She is now based in Lancaster in the north of England.
